On January 17, 2009 from 12 Noon - 4:00 PM, join the team at Wilderness Southeast on a tour down the river and enjoy the wonderful sights and sounds.
After basic canoeing instruction, your Wilderness Southeast naturalist will lead the way downstream past tupelo and cypress. The dark, twisted trunks will reflect perfectly in the mirror-dark water. You’ll be on the lookout for turtles, herons and noisy kingfishers diving for their next meal. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to spot a shy alligator hiding in the shallows. There's beauty around every bend of this peaceful, wild creek.
January 17, 2009 from 12 Noon – 4:00 PM, $40 per person includes canoe, paddle and basic instruction. Group size: 4-18. Reservations required. For more information call (912) 897-5108 or book online.
