Savannah Getaways has a robust market presence in coastal Georgia/South Carolina with a variety of unique “self catered accommodations” in the form of upscale townhouses, Victorian homes, and condominiums that they rent by the day, week or month to travelers vacationing in and around Savannah’s historic district. We have enjoyed a reputation of delivering affordable lodging solutions to our business and hospitality industry customer base over the past eight years. And why Savannah and coastal Georgia has been good to us over the years it also serves as an appropriate business model to create the same type dynamic in the Carolina Mountains hundreds of miles upriver to the headwaters of the Savannah River basin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

With this in mind, we recently created Carolina Getaways as a valuable resource for travelers to the Carolina Mountains along the Heritage Corridor with the unique blend of mountain homes, log cabins, cottages and golf course condominiums found throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Continental Divide. At the moment we are concentrating on golf course properties at the Rock at Jocassee adjacent to the Table Rock State Park area just below South Carolina’s highest mountain peak, Sassafras Mountain, heading north up winding highway 178 through Rocky Bottom, S.C. on into the Rosman community outside of Brevard, North Carolina. The Rock at Jocassee is a well thought out resort golf course community smack in the middle of plenty of vacation activities such as golf, horse back riding, mountain biking, boating, hiking, white water rafting, and sight seeing in the Appalachian Mountains just to name a few of the leisure vacation pursuits discerning travelers seek up here in “The Upcountry” of South Carolina.
